Västerås IK was one of 104 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2015. They participated with one team in P03 Svår.
In addition to Västerås IK, 19 other teams played in P03 Svår. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Västerås IK could be found in Group 2 together with FC Djursholm 2, Täby FK A and IFK Aspudden-Tellus. Västerås IK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Pappas Pojkar FF with 2-5. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 3 won over BK Häcken and became the winner of Slutspel A in P03 Svår. Västerås comes from Västerås which lies approximately 90 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place.
