Älta IF was one of 104 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2015. They participated with one team in F04.
In addition to Älta IF, 11 other teams played in F04. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Älta IF could be found in Group 2 together with Hässelby SK FF, Huddinge IF Trolls and FC Djursholm. Älta IF made it to Slutspel A after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Huddinge IF Trolls, which they won with 4-1. Thereby Älta IF won the entire Slutspel A in F04 during Oktoberpokalen 2015. Älta comes from Älta which lies approximately 18 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place.
