Syrianska IF Västerås was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with three teams in P06 Lätt/Medel, P06 Svår/Extra Svår and P05 Svår/Extra Svår respectively. The team in P05 Svår/Extra Svår made it to the the Bronze match in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Vasalunds IF Tensta by 1-6.
