IK Frej Täby was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with four teams in P04 Lätt/Medel, P04 Svår, F07 and F04 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in F04 Lätt/Medel made it to the the in Gruppspeland won it over IFK Stocksund by 2-0.
In addition to this, IK Frej Täby have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2015, Frej Täby had two teams playing in F06 and F03 Lätt/Medel respectively.
