FC Djursholm was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2017. They participated with 20 teams in all categories except P08 Svår/Extrasvår, P05 Lätt/Medel and P05 Svår. The team in F05 Svår made it to the the Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Ingarö IF by 0-1.
In addition to this, FC Djursholm have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2016, FC Djursholm had 16 teams playing in 11 out of Oktoberpokalens all 17 categories. The team in F04 Lätt/Medel made it to the the Final in Slutspeland won it over Saltsjö-Boo IF vit by 3-1. FC Djursholm comes from D which lies approximately 86 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place. The area around D does also provide three additional clubs participating during Oktoberpokalen 2017 (IFK Stocksund Vit, IFK Stocksund Blå and FC Djursholm 2).
