Djurgårdens IF FF 7 was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with two teams in P07 Svår/Extra Svår and P05 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in P07 Svår/Extra Svår made it to the the Bronze match in A-Slutspel, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna 2 by 0-9.
In addition to this, Djurgårdens IF FF 7 have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2015, Djurgårdens 7 had two teams playing in P05 Lätt/Medel and P04 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in P05 Lätt/Medel made it to the the Bronze match in A-Slutspeland won it over AIK FF Svart by 6-5. Djurgårdens 7 comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 7 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place.
