In addition to IF Brommapojkarna, 9 other teams played in P05 Extra Svår [9-m] (Inbjudningsklass). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof IF Brommapojkarna could be found in Group 1 together with IFK Lidingö FK A, Eskilstuna City FK, Karlslund IF HFK and FC Djursholm.
IF Brommapojkarna made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against AIK FF Akademi with 0-2. Thereby IF Brommapojkarna finished second in P05-ES Slutspel A during Oktoberpokalen 2016. IF Brommapojkarna also participated in P05 Svår/Extra Svår during Oktoberpokalen 2015.
