IF Brommapojkarna was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with 9 teams in 9 out of Oktoberpokalens all 17 categories. The team in P04 Svår made it to the the Final in Slutspeland won it over Djurgårdens IF FF by 1-0.
In addition to this, IF Brommapojkarna have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2015, Brommapojkarna had 13 teams playing in 8 out of Oktoberpokalens all 16 categories. Two teams played until Bronze match in A-Slutspel; F05 Svår won over Stureby SK Blå by 2-0 but F04 lost against Sollentuna FK Nord by 0-4. Brommapojkarna comes from Bromma which lies approximately 11 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place.
