GAIS was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with one team in P06 Svår/Extra Svår.
In addition to GAIS, 27 other teams played in P06 Svår/Extra Svår. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof GAIS could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Lidingö FK 15, Djurgårdens IF FF 1 and Bele Barkarby FF Svart. GAIS continued to Slutspel A after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against AIK FF Akademi with 1-3. In the Final, IFK Lidingö FK 11 won over IF Brommapojkarna 2 and became the winner of Slutspel A in P06 Svår/Extra Svår. GAIS comes from Göteborg which lies approximately 400 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide two additional clubs participating during Oktoberpokalen 2016 (BK Häcken and IFK Göteborg). 4 games playedGoals |
