IFK Stocksund was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2017. They participated with 13 teams in all categories except P07 Svår/Extra Svår, P05 Extra Svår (Inbjudningsklass), P06 Extra Svår [9-m] (Inbjudningsklass), F06 Lätt/Medel and F05 Svår. Two teams played until Bronze match in Slutspel; P05 Svår Vit won over Täby FK FA by 2-1 and F05 Lätt/Medel Vit won over Enskede IK by 1-0.
In addition to this, IFK Stocksund have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2016, IFK Stocksund had 9 teams playing in 8 out of Oktoberpokalens all 17 categories. The team in F04 Lätt/Medel made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against IK Frej Täby by 0-2. IFK Stocksund comes from Stocksund which lies approximately 3 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place.
