AIK FF was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2017. They participated with 13 teams in all categories except P08 Lätt/Medel, P05 Svår, F07 Lätt/Medel and F06 Lätt/Medel. The team in F05 Svår made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against Saltsjöbadens IF by 1-1.
In addition to this, AIK FF have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2016, AIK had 16 teams playing in 11 out of Oktoberpokalens all 17 categories. The team in F07 made it to the the Bronze match in A-Slutspeland won it over FC Djursholm Vit by 3-2. AIK comes from Solna which lies approximately 6 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place. The area around Solna does also provide 86 additional clubs participating during Oktoberpokalen 2017 (Among others: IFK Stocksund, FC Boo, Enskede IK, Örby IS, Boo FF, Karlbergs BK, IFK Vaxholm, Sollentuna FK, Bro IK and IF Brommapojkarna).
