Tyresö FF was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with two teams in F06 Lätt/Medel. The team in F06 Lätt/Medel made it to the the Bronze match in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Huddinge IF by 0-1.
In addition to this, Tyresö FF have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2015, Tyresö had 4 teams playing in P04 Extra Svår (9-manna), P03 Svår, F05 Svår and F03 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in F05 Svår made it to the the Final in A-Slutspeland won it over Vallentuna BK Dam Vit by 3-1. Tyresö comes from Tyresö which lies approximately 19 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place.
