IF Brommapojkarna 2 was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with two teams in P07 Svår/Extra Svår and P06 Svår/Extra Svår respectively. The team in P07 Svår/Extra Svår made it to the the Bronze match in A-Slutspeland won it over Djurgårdens IF FF 7 by 9-0.
In addition to this, IF Brommapojkarna 2 have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2015, Brommapojkarna 2 had one team playing in P03 Svår. The team in P03 Svår made it to the the Semi final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against BK Häcken by 11-12. Brommapojkarna 2 comes from Vällingby which lies approximately 14 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place.
