IFK Lidingö FK 2 was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with two teams in P06 Lätt/Medel and F05 Lätt/Medel respectively. Two teams played until Final in A-Slutspel; P06 Lätt/Medel won over Jarlabergs IF by 2-1 but F05 Lätt/Medel lost against Hanvikens SK by 0-1.
In addition to this, IFK Lidingö FK 2 have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2015, IFK Lidingö FK 2 had two teams playing in P06 Lätt/Medel and P05 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in P06 Lätt/Medel made it to the the 1/4 Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Jarlabergs IF by 1-4.
