Täby FK 2 was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with two teams in F06 Svår and F05 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in F06 Svår made it to the the Bronze match in A-Slutspeland won it over Sollentuna FK Silverdal by 2-1.
In addition to this, Täby FK 2 have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2015, Täby FK 2 had one team playing in F05 Lätt/Medel. The team in F05 Lätt/Medel made it to the the Bronze match in Slutspel Aand won it over IFK Vaxholm Vit by 2-1. Täby FK 2 comes from Täby which lies approximately 4 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place.
