AIK FF was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with 16 teams in 11 out of Oktoberpokalens all 17 categories. The team in F04 Svår made it to the the Final in Slutspeland won it over Boo IS by 1-0.
In addition to this, AIK FF have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2015, AIK had 15 teams playing in all categories except P04 Extra Svår (9-manna), F05 Lätt/Medel, F03 Lätt/Medel and F03 Svår. The team in F06 made it to the the Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Sollentuna FK Silverdal by 2-6. AIK comes from Solna which lies approximately 7 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place. The area around Solna does also provide 104 additional clubs participating during Oktoberpokalen 2016 (Among others: Täby FK, Nacka FC, Hammarby IF FF, IFK Vaxholm, Djurgårdens IF FF 7, Saltsjöbadens if, Hanvikens SK, Apollon Solna FK, Stureby SK and Jarlabergs IF).
