Saltsjö-Boo IF was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with two teams in P04 Svår and F04 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in F04 Lätt/Medel made it to the the Final in Slutspel, but lost it against FC Djursholm by 1-3.
In addition to this, Saltsjö-Boo IF have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2015, Saltsjö-Boo had one team playing in P04 Lätt/Medel. The team in P04 Lätt/Medel made it to the the Semi final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Österåker FK Vit by 2-3. Saltsjö-Boo comes from Saltsjö-Boo which lies approximately 15 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place.
