IFK Stocksund 2 was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with one team in P04 Svår.

In addition to IFK Stocksund 2, 15 other teams played in P04 Svår. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof IFK Stocksund 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Vasalunds IF P05A, Apollon Solna FK and FC Djursholm Röd.

IFK Stocksund 2 continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna 14 U with 0-1. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 14 U won over Djurgårdens IF FF and became the winner of Slutspel A in P04 Svår.

IFK Stocksund 2 comes from stocksund which lies approximately 3 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place. The area around stocksund does also provide 104 additional clubs participating during Oktoberpokalen 2016 (Among others: Täby FK, Nacka FC, Hammarby IF FF, IFK Vaxholm, Djurgårdens IF FF 7, Saltsjöbadens if, Hanvikens SK, Apollon Solna FK, Stureby SK and Jarlabergs IF).
