Täby FK was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with 9 teams in P07 Lätt/Medel, P07 Svår/Extra Svår, P06 Svår/Extra Svår, P05 Svår/Extra Svår, P05 Lätt/Medel, F06 Lätt/Medel and F04 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in P05 Lätt/Medel made it to the the Bronze match in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Skogås-Trångsunds FF Vit by 0-2.
In addition to this, Täby FK have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2015, Täby FK had 6 teams playing in P05 Svår/Extra Svår, P04 Extra Svår (9-manna), P03 Svår, F04, F03 Svår and F03 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in F03 Lätt/Medel made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against FC Djursholm by 0-2. Täby FK comes from Täby which lies approximately 4 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place.
