Stureby SK was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with 5 teams in P06 Svår/Extra Svår, P05 Svår/Extra Svår, F06 Svår, F06 Lätt/Medel and F05 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in F05 Lätt/Medel made it to the the Bronze match in A-Slutspeland won it over IFK Österåker FK by 5-4.
In addition to this, Stureby SK have participated in Oktoberpokalen before. During Oktoberpokalen 2015, Stureby SK had two teams playing in F05 Lätt/Medel and F05 Svår respectively. The team in F05 Svår made it to the the Bronze match in A-Slutspel, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna by 0-2. Stureby SK comes from Bandhagen which lies approximately 16 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place.
