Hammarby IF FF 12 was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with one team in P07 Svår/Extra Svår.

In addition to Hammarby IF FF 12, 19 other teams played in P07 Svår/Extra Svår. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Hammarby IF FF 12 could be found in Group 1 together with IF Brommapojkarna P08-1, IFK Vaxholm 1 and IFK Lidingö FK 11 Blå.

Hammarby IF FF 12 continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Stocksund Blå with 1-3. In the Final, FC Boo won over AIK FF U and became the winner of Slutspel B in P07 Svår/Extra Svår.

Hammarby 12 comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 11 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 104 additional clubs participating during Oktoberpokalen 2016 (Among others: Täby FK, Nacka FC, Hammarby IF FF, IFK Vaxholm, Djurgårdens IF FF 7, Saltsjöbadens if, Hanvikens SK, Apollon Solna FK, Stureby SK and Jarlabergs IF).
