IFK Vaxholm P07-LM

IFK Vaxholm was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with one team in P07 Lätt/Medel.

In addition to IFK Vaxholm, 15 other teams played in P07 Lätt/Medel. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof IFK Vaxholm could be found in Group 1 together with Viggbyholms IF FF, FC Djursholm P08 Röd and AIK FF Vit.

IFK Vaxholm continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Barkarö SK Blå with 0-5. In the Final, Barkarö SK Röd won over IFK Stocksund Vit and became the winner of Slutspel A in P07 Lätt/Medel.

IFK Vaxholm comes from Vaxholm which lies approximately 14 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place. The area around Vaxholm does also provide 102 additional clubs participating during Oktoberpokalen 2016 (Among others: Täby FK, Nacka FC, Hammarby IF FF, Djurgårdens IF FF 7, Saltsjöbadens if, Hanvikens SK, Apollon Solna FK, Stureby SK, Jarlabergs IF and FC Boo).
