FC Djursholm 1 was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with one team in P05 Svår/Extra Svår.

In addition to FC Djursholm 1, 21 other teams played in P05 Svår/Extra Svår. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof FC Djursholm 1 could be found in Group 1 together with IFK Österåker FK 2, Täby United FC Röd and Sollentuna FK Viby.

FC Djursholm 1 continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against FC Järfälla Svart with 7-8. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 06-1 won over FC Järfälla Svart and became the winner of Slutspel A in P05 Svår/Extra Svår.

FC Djursholm 1 also participated in P05 Svår/Extra Svår during Oktoberpokalen 2015. They reached the 1/4 Final in P05-S/ES Slutspel A, but lost it against Vasalunds IF Tensta with 1-2.

FC Djursholm 1 originates from Djursholm, which is the same city as where Oktoberpokalen takes place. The area around Djursholm does also provide 104 additional clubs participating during Oktoberpokalen 2016 (Among others: Täby FK, Nacka FC, Hammarby IF FF, IFK Vaxholm, Djurgårdens IF FF 7, Saltsjöbadens if, Hanvikens SK, Apollon Solna FK, Stureby SK and Jarlabergs IF).
