Ängby IF P05-S/ES

Ängby IF was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with one team in P05 Svår/Extra Svår.

In addition to Ängby IF, 21 other teams played in P05 Svår/Extra Svår. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Ängby IF could be found in Group 4 together with Vasalunds IF Tensta, IF Brommapojkarna 17 U, AIK FF U and Hammarby IF FF 8.

Ängby IF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against FC Järfälla Svart with 7-8. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 06-1 won over FC Järfälla Svart and became the winner of Slutspel A in P05 Svår/Extra Svår.

Ängby comes from Bromma which lies approximately 11 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place. The area around Bromma does also provide 104 additional clubs participating during Oktoberpokalen 2016 (Among others: Täby FK, Nacka FC, Hammarby IF FF, IFK Vaxholm, Djurgårdens IF FF 7, Saltsjöbadens if, Hanvikens SK, Apollon Solna FK, Stureby SK and Jarlabergs IF).
