Segeltorps IF 2 was one of 123 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Oktoberpokalen 2016. They participated with one team in P05 Svår/Extra Svår.

In addition to Segeltorps IF 2, 21 other teams played in P05 Svår/Extra Svår. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Segeltorps IF 2 could be found in Group 3 together with FC Järfälla Svart, IF Brommapojkarna 06-1 and Spånga IS FK 3.

Segeltorps IF 2 continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Spånga IS FK 3 with 5-6. In the Final, Spånga IS FK 3 won over Sollentuna FK Viby and became the winner of Slutspel B in P05 Svår/Extra Svår.

Segeltorps 2 comes from Skärholmen which lies approximately 15 km from Djursholm, where Oktoberpokalen takes place. The area around Skärholmen does also provide 104 additional clubs participating during Oktoberpokalen 2016 (Among others: Täby FK, Nacka FC, Hammarby IF FF, IFK Vaxholm, Djurgårdens IF FF 7, Saltsjöbadens if, Hanvikens SK, Apollon Solna FK, Stureby SK and Jarlabergs IF).
